Each year, the South Open Dancesport Championships welcomes a multitude of unique vendors to join them in the creative environment of the competition! This year, the Championships is thrilled to announce a collaboration with its first official vendor in the general athleisure industry: Werk Dancewear!

Based in South Florida, which is the home region to the Championships, this female family-owned company strives for comfortable, premium fashion that is affordable for all. Werk Dancewear offers dancers a stylish way to express themselves in their daily life all year round. In less than a year, Werk has made a name for themself on and off the dance floor. In addition to dancewear, the company provides general athleisure and training performance wear for all ages and genders. In the ballroom world, couples are practicing every day of the week all year round. Werk dancewear provides not only women’s clothing, but also has incredible men’s wear which is so important and essential for the audience participating in the Championships.

For four continuous days, Werk Dancewear will be showcasing their business and selling their contemporary-style products. Founder, Margaret Denooyer, is thrilled to join South Open this year, “We love dance! I danced for years and my daughter [Kara] currently competes.” The Werk team and foundation continues to thrive as they mark an incredible partnership with their first ever professional ballroom competition. With Margaret and Kara at the forefront of Werk, their vision of inspiring dancers aligns with the passion surrounding the Championships.
