As we all know how important it is for us to get in your daily exercises there are some that we tend to focus on more than others. Whether it is for working out to build your upper body or hitting leg day. Depending on our goals there are exercises we gravitate more towards. When it comes to dancing there are numerous exercises to do to keep one in shape. These are the top three exercises for dancers to keep them in peak performance and feeling good.


  1. Burpees


Doing Burpees targets your upper body along with your glutes, hamstring, and also your core. This is a fantastic work out to include in your workout regime because the intensity this exercise will give you.


  1. Plank


This is a classic workout to help work your core and abdomen. It will give you an improved posture as well as more flexibility which is perfect for dancers.


  1. Squats


Squats are another great workout for dancers that focus on your legs. Squats will help you burn calories and will also strengthen your lower body. There are many different variations that you can also include such as jump squats.
